The only way to get the best result fo rwelding is drying electrodes before processing. Moisture in weldin garc may cause grub hole and can disturb welding quality.
*Hydrogen and oxygen inside the water seperates on high temperatures. Too much hydrogen in welding metal causes porozite and makes crack sbetween main metal and welding metal.
*Oxygen itself effects welding quality on negative way as well.
*Differen ttype of electrodes contain different amount of moisture. Therfore drying procedure is important for individual electrodetype.
*For example; cellulosic ,rutile and acid characterized non-alloyedelectrodesshould not be dried on high temperatures.
*But basic , high productive rultile and allalloyed type of electrodes have to be well dried before processing in order toget best result.
